Empire Assets is looking for a junior analyst to join the trading desk.

What you will do

  • Monitor spot and derivatives markets across major exchanges
  • Summarise order-flow, funding and open-position changes into short desk notes
  • Maintain watchlists and alert thresholds for the traders you support
  • Backtest simple signal ideas with the team's Python notebooks

What we expect

  • Solid understanding of market structure: order books, funding, liquidations
  • Comfort with Excel and at least basic Python (pandas)
  • Availability for 20–25 hours per week, including some weekend windows
  • Fluency in written English
