TRM Labs is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build the data platform behind its blockchain intelligence products. The role focuses on turning massive on-chain datasets into reliable, production-grade pipelines for AI workloads supporting government and private-sector investigations. Responsibilities include owning performance tuning on the StarRocks serving layer using AI-assisted query profiling, building and hardening data pipelines for government cloud investigations, reducing single-point-of-failure risk, and using AI-assisted debugging and log analysis to triage production issues. Requirements: U.S. citizenship, hands‑on experience with distributed OLAP or serving‑layer systems (StarRocks, Trino, ClickHouse or similar), experience owning data pipeline reliability and incident response, and comfort using AI tools (Claude, Cursor or similar).
